How to Make Money in GTA 6

The honest version — earning in-game cash by playing, not by scams.

Before launch, this is based on how previous GTA games worked. We will replace it with tested, ranked methods once GTA 6 is out.

Expected ways to earn

Story missions: the main campaign pays out as you progress.
Heists: big, planned jobs have historically been the top single-player earners.
Side activities & world events: smaller, repeatable income.
Investments/economy features: if present, these can grow cash over time.

Avoid the scams

There is no real "money generator" or online money cheat. Any site asking for your account or payment details is trying to steal them. Full details on our money cheat page.
